As was pointed out to me forcefully, it's not really a hotel, more an enhanced hostel. The owner Mr. Calvin would be happy to give you a tour on your next CR visit. It surely has a right location--1/2 block from HLH and 1-1/2 blocks from the Dunn Inn (that'll be more useful when the Dunn Inn Lounge opens.).

capt bob...I see you live in tampa (I am in N.P.R.) when is your trip ? a few guys from this area are getting in on 8/24 I am staying at the sportmens ,,,that hotel you are asking about , I walk past it all the time and like jazz said its more of a hostel than a hotel ...I have seen the young backpackers walking around the place so makes sence that's what it is...wish I could share better info but that's all I know ....post when you will be in san jose

chilmike im coming down oct 10=19 thanks for intel i like to try different places :roll: :roll: i like all the reg stops ie sportmans dunn i guess i will try castill tiquicia only claim to fame is there sex toy rentals :lol: cb thanks jazz for the info :roll:
