Spirit Airlines (who flies direct from FLL to SJO) has a $35 coupon on their website for bookings that take place today (8/2/10) before 11:59 p.m. If their $299 (including taxes) rate that was available yesterday is still good, you can get from FLL to SJO for as little as $264 + baggage fees. My colombiana emailed me and reminded me of my upcoming cupleanos and told me that she had a special regalo for me, so I have been checking prices for a month now. I almost pulled the trigger for the $35, but waited..and the next day Spirit sent a $50 off special which I couldn't refuse. From DTW for $335 fees & tx included....not the best that I have had in the last 10 years, but better than I have seen in months |

right on spirit air is not bad if booked correctly i live in fort lauderdale never pay over 200 dollars round trip tax included average fare for me is 150 not bad compared to all other airlines |
