Just returned from CR on this flight. The flight from Orlando was great and the Fast Park & Relax was great.
HOWEVER>>>>> the return flight was a disaster and many things Muy Tico.
I was scheduled to return on Sept 7th, but a bird flew into the engine upon landing in CR. Then the Cluster-fuck began. A gringo jetblue employee (passenger) stepped up and provided some guidance and assistance. The Tica bitch supervisor (Juanita Miranda) reminded him that he was a passenger and that she was in charge. Things went to hell after that.
She got frustrated by all the questions, exploded in a tantrum and walked out leaving two low level employees with no authority to work things out. I thought for a moment we were filming a Monty Python sketch when the tico hollered "The taxi vouchers are for the orange taxis. Do not take the orange taxis. The vouchers are only good for the orange taxis."
After 3 hours, they had only processed 7 passengers. I just left and decided to go back to Sportsmens and call Jet Blue on their 800 number. I got a seat on the Thursday Sept 9th flight. The fun continues......
When I checked in on Thursday, I just happened to get the supervisor bitch (Juanita Miranda) and discussed what happened on Tuesday and why I had just left to call the 800 number. She asked what the Jetblue people said. I told her they appologized for the incompetent employees they have in Costa Rica. When I mentioned that on Tuesday we were all asking for her to come back and give guidance to the employees, she denied that she had left. She got more than a little pissy with me when I said I was standing beside her when she stalked out and said "I'm just not going to discuss it with you any more." Ok by me....HOWEVER.......
She marked me for complete inspection at the gate, but for some reason the information did not get up to the gate area and I got on the plane without being inspected. Once the plane was fully loaded, she came on and said that everyone had to get off of the plane because one person was not inspected. When she called out the list of those to be inspected, it included everyone who had been originally inspected, plus my name at the bottom of the list. Everyone who had been originally inspected, got inspected again. (Muy Tico) and then lastly I was inspected. When I got back on the plane with everyone already on board, I stood in the front and told them what happened, including her name in case they were planning to call or write JetBlue. The flight was delayed by two hours and many were going to miss connections in Orlando....All because Juanita Miranda got pissed off at me.

on time everytime, direct tv for most of the flight and you get to the san jose gate without much of a line ....for me a trip from tampa (lennydo) is less than 2hours and you can park for under $6.00 a day, my day's of sitting in the Miami airport are over
classic! Definitely write or call the airline in the US, most likely she will be taught better or may be a baggage handler next trip.
