Post subject:  SL - reservation/cancellation policy
Greetings to all the brothers. What if I make a 7 nights reservation and on the 1st day I arrive I sign up for a overnight Arenal tour for 3-4 days later, can I just stay 3 or 4 nights instead and leave without penalty (booking the tour for the 4th or 5th night)? I want to wait until I arrive before I book any tours.

Also, what's with all the different kinds of rooms listed on the reservation page? I can see the Mansion rooms refer to the Mansion wing, but I can't find any info about the differences between the standard regular, large, deluxe, and the suites???

Unless you can find somebody else to take your room, I doubt you can just cut it short without penalty unless you give 72 hours (3 days) notice. So if you are coming for 7 days and you want to go away on the 5, 6 or 7th day, I think you could cancel those on the day you arrive without penalty. Or why not just book the nights you plan to be in SJ, and leave the other nights open. You don't have to worry about not being able to book a tour and be without a room.

Mansion rooms are listed separately, but the new wing rooms and the older courtyard rooms are listed together. If I remember correctly, the courtyard rooms are $59 and $69 and the new wing rooms are $89 and $99. But you should request a specific room or section when booking. They can tell you what's available.
