back in the day I stayed in those rooms ....and really only liked one of them (cant recall the name) but for the extra $20 a night its worth getting the upgrade,,,,since you are staying for 4 nights and getting the 20% off rate ,,,do the upgrade you will be happy you did...the things that are better are....newer and better items in the room ....bed,tv and shower. You will sleep better as you wont hear the staff and other people talking outside your room....the doors do lock in the old rooms but at least 2 of them you will need to play with the key to get them open. being on the other side of the bar is just better.

I stay in the Clubhouse area regularly. The rooms aren't big, but they have everything you need and it is relatively quiet. I'm not going to hold a press conference there. The chicas I have met really don't care what room you are staying in.

I have thought about staying in the mansion and I cetainly can afford it, but if a Clubhouse room is open I usually figure I can use the difference in cost for other things. However, the one thing I do miss is a jacuzzi. Sometimes my 2 friends down there need some soothing after a lot of action. As a result I am sure someday I'll ask for a mansion room. But otherwise the Clubhouse area is perfectly fine.
