Was wondering if anyone arrived late and how hard or easy it is to get a taxi to the Gulch and would it cost more late? And any specific cab color? Anything else thanks.

Orange cabs will be there at the same rate. Chances of going up to the departure area and finding a red taxi at that time of night will be slim.

I took one in, it's running 11-12 mil colones, around $23. The orange cabs use meters now but it is in this ballgame.

Jimmy, if your are arriving that late, get with a CRT brother who knows a reliable taxi driver. The driver will either be there, or will make sure someone is there to pick you up. I have never arrived at that time at night. Don't know if the taxi stand is open that late. If it is, THAT is your best option. If not, us fellow brothers can help you out with reliable taxi service, i.e. they actually show up. Enjoy your trip!
