Need to go north in a couple of weeks. Last time I left the country , jan. feb??, the only bar on the concourse had closed beacuse of renovations. The only place to get a drink was the rip off VIP lounge $30.00 entrada or the smoking bar. Do any of you current travelers know if there is another bar open at the airport.

I used to buy the Ron Centenario with a Pacha, a small bottle included, and drink it on the flight. Not much to chose from in the airport.

The little food stand at the end of the terminal by the lower gate numbers had a few different beers yesterday.

Also, at least one of the duty free shops usually has a free sample stand set up in front of the store. If you already had a cup from the food court you might be able to discreetly slip the girl some money to fill up your cup.

Could it be that the airport policy in this regard and the vendors that they allow to do business at the airport in general may be heading for a change now that the former concession holder at the airport, Alterra Partners, is out and a new one, Aeris Holding, bought out the concession to manage things?

Nimbus, the smoking bar was open when I was there in June.
