My fiance and I are planning our honeymoon to CR in June. As we are active swingers, we are looking forward to finding a nice playmate or two while there. Any suggestions on where we should stay or visit? I am thinking the Hotel Del Ray. As a women, I am thinking it is prob. safer to bring a lady back to our room then trying to grab a cab to another hotel. Was also wondering, if anyone had any idea how much is reasonable. And, is there a one guest limit at most places? Is there a hotel that does not limit? Do massage parlors take couples? What's the closest beach? Etc... Any anything else you can think of that might help a shy American shed my culture and enjoy the relaxed attitude the rest of the world seems to enjoy. ![]() Thanks! |

Is there a hotel that does not limit? Why do you think it would be unsafe to bring a girl(s) from DR to another hotel? Everybody does it all the time. No worries there. The DR is a completely dump as far as the hotel, it's overpriced, and they charge a made up fee of $10 to bring a girl up to YOUR room. I think Sportsmens Lodge (SL) would be a good place to stay. No stupid fees, no limits on guests, and good atmosphere. Good bar and restaurant onsite. Oh yea... and plenty of girls hanging out in the place looking to make money. ![]() Pussywillow wrote: Was also wondering, if anyone had any idea how much is reasonable. Do massage parlors take couples? What's the closest beach? Etc... It's negotiable. Many guys get quoted $100, but most negotiate down to $70-80, so you gotta figure a little more for a couple. I would say $120-150 for a couple of hours should do the trick. Stay away from the one-hour girls, mostly clock-watchers. For a couple, the only massage parlor to visit is Hotel Little Havana (HLH). Go with Pamela and Lauren and the 4 of you can have a real good time. You will thank me later. Pussywillow wrote: Any anything else you can think of that might help a shy American shed my culture and enjoy the relaxed attitude the rest of the world seems to enjoy. ![]() Not all girls will be into couple but plenty are. They actually enjoy it (while making money of course), not just doing it for the bucks. Make sure you talk with the girls a little to weed out the ones who don't like girls. Do a search in the Trip Reports section for reports from couples. There have been a couple in the past few months, maybe they will respond to this thread. If you sign up for a VIP card, you get discounts at hotels and restaurants (and other activities, even at an MP) all over town, it's $39 /yr. https://costaricaticas.com/join.php List of discounts: https://costaricaticas.com/memberdiscounts.pdf At HLH, as a VIP, you pay $46/hr per girl for a "massage". Double that for a couple. It's $55 without VIP. So just one session there with 1 girl saves you $18 ($92 instead of $110). Do a 2-girl session and you pretty much recooped your membership fee. ![]() Read this too: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=16357 Enjoy. |

Written by a guy ? The reason I ask this is because it states " as a women " . If this were a real woman it would read as such. add edit : notice the 04/01 date this went up and I cry April Fools . |

I would suggest the Sportsman Lodge, La Amistad, or Dunn Inn for a Hotel in San Jose. All allow guests and have a discount for CRT members. Jaco is the closest beach by ground and Quepos(Manuel Antonio is the closest by air using Sansa or Nature Air). |

If you go to Jaco, we have plenty of posts about that town. I favor Clarita's to stay and the Beatle Bar is basically the only guaranteed P4P venue but research...YMMV is never truer than Jaco; opinions are, shall we say, divided about that town. Manuel Antonio is a far better beach. We have 3 Sponsors offering fishing charters out on the Pacific side--great way to spend a day. Our resident fishing expert is Brother Mucho Gusto--check him out. |

I have heard Jaco is kind of dirty. And I think the first half of the trip, I may want something more one on one and personal. At least this time, being our honeymoon and all. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I hear you on the small planes though NatureAir (the private company) uses some super-tough Canadian planes. So look at Interbus for ground transpo. Look here for references to Quepos/ Manuel Antonio--you can pretty much have it all. Also check http://www.TripAdvisor.com for this area, especially their Forums. I would advise going there just the 2 of you--maybe future trips you can bring along a 3rd person--but not this time. BTW some time or another I want to shake that lucky devil's hand. Also with that red hair of yours--bring along some SPF99 lotion--that tropical sun can burn through a tan. That would make for an awkward honeymoon experience. |

Do a search on authors KGK. He was down recently and he and his lady are also down in a swinging way. He would also be a good source of info for you. Great guy, friendly, has experience. Dean |

Maybe you ought to check out Club Amor, it's found off the road from San Jose to Limon on the Atlantic coast. There's also a place near the Sportsman Lodge which caters to swingers. My masseuse has been known to play with chicas at times. She'd probably be up for a 3 some, and she lives not far from the SL and the Hotel Little Havana. |

JazzboCR wrote: Brother Flyboy's Gulch club mention is Pareja Total http://www.parejatotal.com We have a goodly amount of info here--search "swingers" Although we are swingers, that is not what I am looking for this trip. Not to hurt any guys feelings out there... but one of the main reasons I want to come to CR is because when we play with other couples, I would rather be playing and sharing with the other women and him. Instead of dealing with her guy. I guess, my fiance keeps me very satisfied that way. So I don't really want or need another guy. I just want to have fun with hot, sexy women. Can ya blame me? lol I think I've gotten it worked out ... thinking of flying in to SJO, staying at the Makanda for a few alone days by the beach. Finishing off the trip by staying at the SL on Friday/Sat nights before flying home on Sunday. The penthouse was already booked at the SL ![]() ![]() Anyone ever been to the Makanda? I have heard there is a lot of steps. And I am wondering.. is there a public beach (taxi distance) that we can check out the ladies? thanks again! |

I hate it! I have already started tanning for the trip. I think my neighbor caught me topless the other day. Ooops... lol ![]() |

Consider also staying at the Amistad; they typically get good reviews & I'm sure they'd have no problem if you bring a guest to your room (confirm before booking). Another reason to stay at the Amistad or SL is that the only swingers club in CR is right across the street from the Amistad. It's very good if you like the latina dancing - reggaeton, etc. Since I can't dance worth a shit my novia & I usually visit with a another guy - they dance & I drink & watch. In all my times visiting there I've never seen another gingo or English-speaker (unless I brought him...). They're open Wed-Thurs-Fri-Sat with Wednesday, Friday & Saturday being pretty busy. Occassionally they'll have a "show" that is worth watching (my novia loved watching the "hombre desnudo con músculos..."). /dddick |
