Post subject:  Looking for 2-bedroom suite (or adjoining rooms)

I will be in CR in March with family for five nights...then a few nights on my own..

For the first five nights, I'm looking for a 2-bedroom suite, pool preferred, but as important is walking distance to the pedestrain walkway area...any ideas? Family-oriented is OK...I'll have my fun in the second half of the trip.

The suite at the Presidente would have been perfect, but it is already booked. I also considered the condo 'executive-properties,' and it is a good option but a bit far away from where I'd prefer to be.

Anyone have any good suggestions? Price isn't a huge consideration. A hotel out near the airport would be OK too. Order of importance: 1. two bedrooms, 2. near pedestrian walkway in San Jose, 3. pool or jacuzzi might be good instead.

Two adjoining rooms would work too. I don't recall seeing this option at any of the SJ hotels where I've stayed (Villa Tournon, Del Rey (not a good option anyway), Presidente, Castillo, SL, Hemingway)

Thanks in advance.

Looks like a good option, but wouldn't it put a dent in your business - or a least a hitch in your getalong - to have the following wandering in and around:

Two attractive (single) women in their 40s
Three K*ds, ranging in age from 8 to 13
80 y/o married couple.

:?:

It seems like it would cramp your style having that around no matter where you go
