its official i am finally taking my overdue first trip to costa rica in the coming months. dont really care much about luxurious hotel rooms so i will be staying in a standard room. however, i am planning to stay a day/night in penthouse/suite to celebrate my birthday and host a "wild party night", if y'all know what i mean. money is really not the issue here (as long as its under $200). I am looking for a place with a king size bed, jacuzzi, AC, hot water, and no fees for bringing 2 or more chicas over for an overnight stay.

i have a few places in mind...
1) HOTEL DUNN INN SUITE with "two large living areas, a newly remodeled bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, air conditioning, premium king size bed, a well stocked bar".

2) HOTEL LA AMISTAD PENTHOUSE with "king size bed, AC, two person 28 jet jacuzzi, personal dry sauna, bar and balcony.

3) one of the modern wing rooms at SL such as the El Ray??

that's all the popular ones i can think of right now. any other suggestions ?? All three places are probably excellent choices...but i just want a side by side comparison of size of the room, quality of the bed, cleanness, and how modern each of the room is.

Check out the one at SL. I think they have pics on the website. Two rooms,living area,bar,and two hot tubs. The only bad thing is not enough hot water to fill both tubs at the same time

And it's over $200 per night - $250 I believe...

@Crfly: the two hot tubs def sound fun...but whats a hot tub without hot water?? what about the penthouse at la amistad? i know they have a policy of one guest at a time? but will they make an exception for the penthouse. one would think so since it is a "penthouse" and we are paying double the regular price...

This criteria pretty much narrows down where to stay.
1.)SL should be your first choice. The penthouse is great, but if it is just yourself and girls there are other room options. Both Leon and Torro Negro in the Mansion wing would serve your purpose very well. Plus having readily available and eager ladies feet away will insure that you can party until your hearts content. Bill the owner is great and will insure that you have a very memorable party.

2.)Little Havana Hotel(formerly Zona Blue) also would be very good. They have 4 very nice, large rooms. The expense could be offset by the fact you get their girls for only $25 dollars per hour when staying in one of those rooms. Staying where girls are on premises should be on the top of the prioity list. Talk to Eddie and tell him exactly what you are looking for and he will tell you what girls are best. (Dont be shy.) Two girls would never be a problem. Heck you could have 10 if you want. Boy if those walls could talk, just ask Quickbluefox.

3.)The Dunn Inn would also be a suitable option. They are upcoming and Boyd(BKTUNA)will also make sure you are a happy guest. Their customer service level is awesome and will make them a successful and established Hotel in the monger world very soon. Rooms have been renovated very nicely and no problem with extra guests.

Last)The last place you should consider for a wild party is Amistad. Front desk personnel have attitude lately and they want more tranquil guests. Not a good place for Mongers looking to have a wild time. They have stopped many a guys coming with more then one girl and have threatened others with eviction due to what they say is loud noise.

@CRT KnosItAll: thanks for the info. very informative indeed. Being my first trip to CR and not knowing any of the members here, it will most likely just be me and the girls. but if i meet some cool fellow mongers i wouldnt mind inviting them to the party.

i think my primary choice is going to be one of the modern wing rooms at SL or HLH. Both for their easy chica access. anyone know the price of the suites per night at HLH? I went to their website and came away very impressed. Also how do the girls stack up to the girls at SL??
Dunn Inn is still in the picture...only problem is ill need to taxi back the girls but i like the fact that u can have multiple guests.

Except for the PH, SL Modern wing rooms aren't really suites -- just regular rooms with queen or king beds. You probably are thinking of a Mansion room (except Puma -- although located in the Mansion, that one is just a room with a bed and bathroom).

Don't forget the SL Presidente suite @ 109 / night - a real "suite" with a large living room, separate bedroom and enormous bathroom with a real jacuzzi (instead of a jacuzzi tub).

Sorry Dream, I have been away for a couple of days. I haven't stayed at LA. IMO the suite at SL is very nice. especially if you have a wing man to off set the price. As for the jacuzzi tubs they take allot of water. It wont be cold, warm at best if you fill them to the brim. That didn't keep out

@miami: oops, thanks for correcting me. i meant to say one of the mansion rooms.

one more question boys. would it be better if i host the party on a week night or a weekend night. i guess what im trying to determine is which night of the week would there be the most girls at the SL (on average).
