Post subject:  SJO airport update smooth and tranquillo
Just went through the SJO airport and it was faster and smoother than any other time. I took three carry ons, one computer bag one small bag and a customs sack, quite a bit of stuff and continental said nothing. Also they let us still hit the restroom 15 minutes to land. Customs was smooth and everything was great. got upgraded on continental gotta love that airline.
Also 10k colones to recharge your phone at the airport is quick and lasts 60 days

I am headed to Dallas as I write this from SJO. There was a longer line to check in at Continental but First Class only had one person waiting. The line through screening took about 15 minutes. I arrived 3 hours early and now am just sitting around. I think this latest incident is not affecting the flights I have taken.

This is good news.......can anyone else provide feedback as to their experiences getting checked-in and going thru security?

I landed in sjo on Jan. 4th, & left on Jan. 11th, flying from Vegas thru Houston. The only difference on the flights or @ the airports compared to all my previous trips was just before boarding the jet in sjo to return to the USA all passengers were subjected to a brief body pat-down.
