I've been absent for a couple of years... are there any Tica Friendly Condos in Jaco (2-3br) that anyone can recommend. Hopefully no Tica fees. Does anyone know about Paloma Blanca, Bahia Azul, Vista Mar,Tres Regalos, or Bahia Encantada? ps. Azcentral, I appreciate your response back in june, though i was unable to make the trip. |

Clarita's is not a condo but they have access to condo's. I stay at Clarita' and love the place, bar ,resturant,rite on beach, pool , cold cheap beer, ladies. |

For the Bahia Azul, if you're still looking, you can contact: Al 773-525-4545 w770@aol.com I just leased one of his two condos yesterday for $200 per night if you wanted to pay that amount. Tell him Doug (that is staying in his other unit from 1/21-1/25) told you to give him a call. Usually it's $260 per night. |

I appreciate the replys with useful information noted. It seems that my buddies have backed out so I may be traveling solo... either to CR or Rio. Now I'm looking for a Tica Friendly Hoe-tel for ONE. Is Cocal worth the money they're telling me $120 a night (is there a Tica Fee?). Can anyone tell me if the best way to get to Manuel Antonio during the day,from Jaco without renting a car (time travel by bus) |

Cocal is nice---no chica fee--also chicas hanging out there by the pool bar, plus casino. They also rent out real nice condos there if you change your plans. |

I'm thinking of Jaco for 3 days and will probably stay at Clarita's (again) unless I can find some place better. |
