I have received a few inquiries about whether the Dunn Inn pays for good reviews with special discounts or cash. We have not and will not be doing this. Any special rates we have are available to all CRT VIP members equally. I also do not and will not make any efforts to squash any criticisms on the board. I spoke with Bill at the Sportsmens and he confirmed that he does not do this either. I personally do not know of any other sponsors doing this. BKTUNA/Boyd I am never going home |

Dunn Inn was 1st on my list of places to stay, just from reading this site!... but was all booked when i was there : ( we did have breakfast there... and they had both kinds of toast ! LOL seems like a great place... hope to be staying there soon and ill write an honest review! are the rooms quiet ? 
can i have my 5 dollars now ?

In general our rooms are quiet. We have just finished our major room renovation so daily construction noise has gome away. At night the traffic is light on the street and we are not on bus or train routes. We also installed double paned quiet windows in the building. Just contact me directly and I can help with booking one of the more quiet rooms. BKTUNA/Boyd I am never going home |

Ydogi If anyone is going to get 5 bucks from the place it is me 
But after staying 6 years at the Dunn Inn they have become very fond of me giving them money to stay there... and then some 
Place is quiet some rooms more than others... Furthermore if your are room #3 when I show up unexpectedly get ready to move
BK is on the up and up

this is something the proprietor of the Cardboard Inn, Inc was famous for..he would payoff in empty minis and a slightly used fly swatter! however, the DIACORT residuals are impressive. |

I stayed at the Dunn Inn in Sept for 4 nights. I just recently booked another stay there for Feburary. I highly recommend this hotel. The SL is still my favorite and preferred choice. But it's always booked up.

i have spoken well and frequently about the Hotel Dunn Inn (I was fond of it before Brother BKTuna gained stewardship) but shilling destroys credibility quickly--for both shill and object of shill. The only reviews worth it are peer reviews. That's the strength of both this Board and TA. I sincerely believe that if anybody were to offer to shill these venues, they'd get a swift kick in the pants and be "outed" here for their pains. It's unfortunate that Brother BKTuna felt it necessary to address the subject--it is a total non-issue for me and most likely, you. |
