I know HDR asks for a flight number. And I think SL does (don't recall). That's the only thing that sucks about these deals, short notice for booking hotel. Do La Amistad or Dunn Inn require a flight number for booking? |

I jumped on this deal. Just made reservations. It's less than half of what I've paid for round trip tickets from IAH to SJO! My WM and I...Back in town this weekend! Saturday thru Monday! Thanks Dvgz_clock! |

Never heard of requiring a flight number for booking. Thought a credit card and a cancellation policy would suffice. Don't think I would do that, just on the principal of it. |

What is the purpose of a flight number for booking a hotel room? |

HDR asks for it. Muy Tico bizarre requests. |

But, then again, there is no way for them to check if they just ask for a flight number and airline.. |

I'm assuming it's for if you request airport pickup by the hotel. Or maybe the hotel can know when to expect you, and can track whether your flight got delayed/cancelled. |

I doubt that any hotel requires a flight number. They may ask for it but you can leave blank and nobody will ever ask you. I doubt they do anything with that info, I know they don't track flights. Maybe if a guest were to no show, they may check the flight to see if it came in or is very late. |

HDR does ask for flight number(don't know if it's a requirement), SL does not. I had booked HDR for my first trip, but had to cancel. Just booked the SL about a month ago and no questions about flights. |

I can guarantee you (three trips this year, fourth coming up) that the SL does not ask for your flight number when you book a room. |
