Post subject: | Sportsmen Lodge Question |
I'm looking to book a room at the Sportsmen Lodge, has anybody used the booking form on their website before to book a room? And also is the credit card you provide just to hold the room? Nothing is charged correct? Ok thanks....also any insight on the rooms there would be appreciated...thanks. |

I am sure Cujo's answered your questions. He was very helpful to me when I was looking for a hotel room. |

Nothing is charged, my guess is that they just keep it on file in case you don't show or cancel. They will ask for a credit card at check in, but won't bill anything till check out. |

You have just asked the magic question which will make this thread go for about 10 pages. Here's my two cents: Any room in the Mansion (except Zorro -- it's nice but small). I like Oso Grande, Leopardo, Mono, Leon... pretty much any except Zorro (and even Zorro is nice, it's just small in comparison to the others and has a queen bed instead of king like the other Mansion rooms). In the Modern wing, my favorite is El Rey and the ones on the 2nd floor. The Clubhouse and Courtyard rooms are the cheapest rooms but also are older, less comfortable (although I believe several have been remodeled recently), and in the case of the Courtyard rooms very noisy. El Presidente Suite is a great room and less expensive than the Mansion rooms. Plus you are right at the entrance of the hotel which can be an advantage -- you can scope out the talent coming in (or going out) from your door or through your window. If you join CRT as a paying member you get a 10% discount on the SL room rates as well as lots more discounts and benefits, by the way. mh |

El Rey has def had some crazy action going on. Those of you who remember, I still get a chuckle when I think about breaking the chair in the lounge area. ![]() ![]() ![]() That's a cool room, but I'm not down with the door being so visible. Man, the way we have traffic going in and out of Amante, There's little chance I could ever be in El Rey or Illusion again.. Las Palmas perhaps, since it was my cherry room but I know Beachbum has the lock down on that.. ![]() Dmd- my bad on taking so long to get to your PM, but I hit ya back... Cujo |

The El Rey ![]() Had a naked chica on each knee out on the patio getting down with some outside action ![]() One thing though, if you look close at the night stand on the right side of the bed it looks extremely shiny. Thats because I spilled a jug of lube on it. I tried cleaning it off but it got a good shellacking none the less ![]() PB |

Thats true, the door is in sight of anyone by the bar, but it was nice not having to walk far to get to your room. I remember just looking at the door thinking....I just have to make it that far... ![]() |

![]() I love that door. I used to stand in it and was able to scan the bar, the computer area, and the hallway. I would see someone I liked and just wave her over. The only downside to El Rey is the noise factor in the early morning. |
