The airport in Barcelos Brazil runs from the Rio Negro to the jungle. The pilot makes one pass to run the dogs and monkeys off the runway and then comes back around to land. Alongside the runway are remains of planes that did not make it.

Ever sit next to a pilot on a flight (dead-heading airline, corporate, military or private--no difference)? My advice? Ask to change seats or risk getting inundated with sweat. Especially if flying into Lesotho. |
