We stayed in Atlantida Lodge. I didn't like it, too rustic, no TV.

You might be better off driving the extra 10 minutes south to Puerto Viejo and staying at one of the hotels there. Much larger selection. The other option is to try the attached link and look for a vacation rental in Cahuita.

Good Luck.

Assuming they are genuinely as described, those listings "Walk to Beach..." and "Small House..." look darned good, especially at $60+/- per night pro rata.

I stayed in Cahuita a few years ago, and staying in two of the hotels. I don't remember there name, but they were both basic as anything, cold water showers.

The rooms were clean however, and the price was about $25 a night, or slightly more in include breakfast. The beaches there are part of a national park and they were spectacular.

There were a number of restaurants and bars, and the prices were all reasonable.

If you are looking for a simple place it is great.

...And as I'm wont to do when talking about the southern Caribbean coast, I'd get in touch with a hotelier in PV named Colinsito. He has posted here and is a Resident Expert on TripAdvisor.com. A most helpful gent.
