Post subject: | Holiday Inn? |
I just arrived here in San Jose and got a room at the Holiday Inn Aurola (right next to the Del Rey). I have a feeling that I am going to have a problem trying to bring a girl back here. Can anyone give me some info and suggestions? Thanks |

You will probably find that your feeling is based reality. They are not friendly in that way. |

Go to the Muses Massage, one street behind the Holiday or to the New Fantasy Massage, two streets behind the Holiday. You may want to rent a room in a cheaper hotel, just for sex. ![]() ![]() |

This just goes to show why guys should post (or RTFF) BEFORE they make reservations. Zebra's (sarcastic) suggestion that one could just bite the bullet and pay the chica fee is not a serious one. For $80 one could get a room at another hotel that is probably just as good as the ones they have at the HI. So why not just stay at that other hotel and save yourself the basic room fee at the HI. A lot of guys have suggested getting a second cheaper room somewhere in addition to your main room at non-chica friendly hotels like the HI both here and in past cases, but I don't really understand that solution either. A halfway decent hotel room is going to cost you at least another $30 and even a complete dive like the Hotel Asia will run $10. So you could save yourself some dough over the $80 chica fee but effectively you'll still be paying a fairly high fee. Really the best solution is to not stay at such hotels to begin with. I can see only a few scenarios where staying at a place like the Holiday Inn MIGHT be justified. 1) Your company is paying for it and you don't want them to see a known monger hotel on your expense report. Even so you still should be able to get them to book you at some other more neutral place (like the Castillo or Amon Plaza) that does not have the monger reputation but at least is more chica friendly. 2) Your hotel stay is being covered by "reward points" and so is not really costing you anything. Still if you're going to wind up either paying $80 for the chica fees or $30+ for a 2nd room at some other hotel, you might rather save your points for some other trip. 3) You booked a flight-hotel package deal through one of the internet travel sites and are limited in your selection of hotels. Still, there are probably better choices than the HI. For example, even though it is further away the BW Downtown would be much more chica friendly than the HI. And, even if none of the hotel choices that they offer are that chica friendly, if you look at their normal hotel rates, you'll probably find that the "discounts" they offer on those packages really aren't that great. You can probably get better discounts through CRT at the hotels that sponsor this site. 4) You're traveling with family or friends who you don't want to know what you're doing for extracurricular activities and plan to do all you're mongering at MP's or other places other than your hotel room. If that is the case, you might want to be a little further outside the gulch where your friends or family won't be confronted with what really goes on every time they step out on the street. For example, you could stay at the Grano de Oro in the Paseo Colon area, which still has some MP's nearby but not nearly as many old drunk gringos stumbling around with young chicas in their arms. |
