Any observations on what mid week flights going one way from SJO to FLL or even Miami; might have more empty seats. Looking to save money on airfare on short notice.

My last two flights from SJO to Miami (Tuesday and Wednesday, Flight AA 972 both times) were PACKED. Not an empty seat on the plane.

It may be cheaper to buy a round-trip ticket. You can date the return leg for the next time you'll go to CR.

Weekend before Labor Day...flew down on a Thurs. and the plane was 1/2 empty. Solid full on the Monday flight home though.
