Post subject:  staying at the hotel dunn inn

hey

just wanted to let you know on my stay at the hotel dunn inn.

the staff is very helpful there and great service and very friendly.
the restaurant/bar has a good breakfast but some of the items on their menu i did'nt like the for lunch or dinner. but im very picky.

there is a small amount of construction going on when i was there on labor day weekend
what they are doing is remodeling room by room but is it very well done when finished
i stayed in deluxe queen room 12 which is right beside the bar but it was pretty quiet even during happy hour.
it doesnt have A/C but it has a normal ceiling fan and i circulation fan and if you keep both on at night it get really cold in there
the bed is really comfortable and it has a mini bar and a safe and wired internet access and wireless access. just ask the reception desk for the network key if you need it
as far as the room go i would not pick the cheap rooms. they are very very small. the bed barely fits and there is almost no room for two bags
i would pick a deluxe queen room on my next stay there.

some of the taxi drivers dont know where the hotel is, so i would bring a CRT VIP map on you next trip
its pretty close to almost all the usual locations (sportsman lodge, NF ,HLH and 8 min walk to the delrey)
for you exercise addicts: there is a pretty good gym up 2 blocks past the HLH , right near the radio shack next to it\.
its say "GYM" on the second floor window about 1000 to 2000 colones per day. you need to bring your own water

for a small little hotel, it worth my money next time im in CR

happy mongering

Thanks for staying with us and your report.

We are redoing the rooms one by one and only during the daytime to minimize disruption.

The best way to give directions to a cabbie is trescientos meters norte Holiday Inn

This is 300 meters (3 blocks) north from Holiday Inn.

They all know the Dunn Inn but they pronounce it something like Dune In

BKTUNA
I am never going home
