Does the SL have a parking area. I will have a rental car. Gonna be in the country for a bit, and stopping by the SL for 1 night in Sept. Should I just leave the car at the airport ??? Any other suggestion for parking it at/near SL ???

Not per se. But, a few parking garages close. Usually, you can just park on the street right across the street from the SL.

12,000 colon for the night ! I was drinking at the Sportsman and don't drive at all after any drinks so I used that parking lot. To me it was expensive.

I usually take a taxi. It would have been cheaper.

You can park on the street in front of the SL at any time other than 7am to 5pm Mon-Fri without paying.
The SL has a guy that watches the cars at night for tips . They also have a guard on duty but he is watching the hotel so a vehicle parked several spaces away might be broken into in the wee hours of the morning. So dont leave valuables of any kind in the car.

I had this happen to a rental car in Paseo Colon 3 years ago. There was nothing at all in the car but they damaged the door lock to take a look see.
