Hi, I wanted to update on my tour operator experience. I am staying at Hotel La Amistad and there is a tour operator - Alex Palma. THe good part is he speaks english and is excellent at organizing tours. We went to Canopy ( Excellent tour ) and White Water rafting. Had lot of fun and the best part was hassle free. I am staying at the La Amistad in a week. I inquired about a pick up at the airport because I am arriving late. His price was very unreasonable. I have a tour guide that I use given to me by the Clinica Biblica international desk if anyone is interested, great prices very trustworthy. |

To All Most do not want to Pick Up from the airport because of delays in customs, plane delays.... It is always best to take a cab out front which are reasonable and always immediately available. Alex price is the same as a cab for transport from the Hotel to Airport. |

Or if you are travelling light, walk around to the front of the airport and catch a bus. Less than a dollar and they end up fairly near the gulch. I would guess that a taxi from the bus stop would be minimal. This area is not bad like the Coca Cola. |

I have been using Interbus the last few times I have gone to CR. It is only $9.50 each way. They wait for you outside the airport with a sign and then take you to your hotel.
