I've never stayed at the Dunn Inn. That's because I always stay at Hotel Castillo. IMHO it has a much more convenient location. I also love the staff there. You will likely find more CRTers at Castillo too. |

I'd go with the Castillo, but just because of location. I don't know how either is inside or anything about the staff. |

Dunn Inn sucks stay away 
The local of the Dunn Inn is also very good.. Very close to HLH, Soda Peru, Poas bar, and there is a casino across he street. I know nothing about Castillo so I can not compare the two |
