Gentleman,

After reading this board the last few days, I'm having second thoughts of coming.

I've been to Amsterdam several times and have always been impressed with the quality. There is always at least 30 to 40 girls working windows that are as hot or hotter than Mia at Monkey bar (saw her photos) or the "CR Hooters girls" (again photos). Are there girls that hot? It kinda of sounds like there are all lot of sketchy, fat girls.

I've looked over the gallerys, both new and archived, and have only seen a few girls that are "do able". Maybe I was spoiled going to A dam? I hope not. Please tell me that there are girls as hot or hotter than Mia??

About rooms, I was quoted $99 at HDR for basic room and $47 (with 20% CRT discount) at SL with no chica fee..........I picked SL!

Brother BonePony--(Love the handle)--I've never been to A'dam though that's a dream on several levels. That said, it's a big mistake to compare CR with A'dam or anywhere in Europe--the overall experiences are just too different. Depending on your home location, CR has airfare price going for it plus all there is to do in CR on your downtime that can't be replicated in Europe. The reverse is also true. A fair comparison might be other Latin American countries, and all of them have ardent, vocal fans. If you must make comparisons, think of CR as a fat-tired bicycle with training wheels and Colombia/Peru/Brazil as thin-tired zippy bikes (I'm thinking here of the social infrastructure like CRT). Come down and give Costa Rica a fair shot--remember though: no cien
Personally, I'm a big fan of those magnificent Latin bundas--doubt you'll find that in Festung Europa.

Dude don't know when you where in Amsterdam last.

Amsterdam is one of my least favorite places to monger.

They want 50-60 euros for 15-20minutes. They are all business. It's wham bam next. I find Amsterdam girls cold european beotches.
No DFK NO BBJ They upcharge for multiple positions.

Hanging out at the HDR, HLH, or SL and getting to know the girls before you take them back to room makes a big difference for most.

It's not uncommon for the Chicas to spend several hours or all night with you.

If your into point and Phuck. There are dozens of MPs.

You need to check out CR. You won't be disappointed. If you enjoyed Amsterdam I think you will like CR.

Much more bang for your US dollar compared to the netherlands.

There is definitely quality in CR. You cannot judge the talent level of CR purely based on the picture gallery. I know its kind of ironic that the gallery of the CRT website doesnt truely depict the true quality of chicas in CR.

There are several reasons why most chicas in the 8-10 range arent on the gallery...
1. some dont like to have their pictures taken
2. those that do, don't want us to post them
3. certain members have 9s, 10s as favoritas/novias and just rather keep to ourselves until we feel its time to share.. :P

Its totally up to you if you choose to give CR a shot. Since you said you've been reading this board..then you should know how many of us have gone just once and have been hooked on CR ever since. :wink:

BonePony -- cool handle - my advice is to go to CR. You will find some all-business girls and you will find 10's. You will have to pay well for the 10's.

The one thing that keeps me coming back is this: on every trip, I meet a new spinner in the 7 - 9 range who is extremely affectionate and truly enjoys sex all the time. A real novia. It is amazing when you run across that girl, and it happens 100% of the time to me (minimum 3-day stay required!).

I'm returning in 10 days and I have a 9 spinner waiting for me and an 8 spinner waiting for me.

When I was with these girls in June, I literally laughed out loud when sessions were over because I was so happy. At age 53, it is really difficult to find an experience that makes me LOL happy. I get that in CR. Not in Thailand, not in Brazil, not in Colombia, not in the Philippines. But always in Costa. Note that I have never experienced Europe, so any pointers you can offer are much appreciated!

Note also that I am not posting photos of these girls. I know they see other guys when I'm not there, but I don't want competition during my stay.

Altho I haven't been to A-dam in quite a while. my buddy reported $75 for 20 minutes last Fall. I have to agree with the above posts that you will experience an overall better experience in CR at far more reasonable prices

Oh, I'm going to come to CR in October, Already got my plane ticket and room at SL. Joined CRT for the discounts. I'm down!

Peanutz, I was in A Dam last Nov of 2008 and Feb 2009.

Your right about the 20 minutes thing, but some are not like that ("blue jean Annie" and "Jennifer cutie" come to mind) some just enjoy their chosen profession. I was just commenting on the atractiveness of the girls.

CR does seem to be a better value ($270 flight vs $500-600 flicht and $47 room vs $85 room, flight time is about same from Boston) but A Dam has the intagibles (Coffee shops, smart shops, everyone speaks english etc...)

About paying "cein"? I was a sailor, I've been at this hobby for 25 years. I know how to negotiate the deal, I just don't speak spanish that well but am "boneing up". A Dam girls try that 100 euro/upsale crap also, must be taught in "Pro 101". You just have to lay it out up front and if you get the "bad vibe" you walk. ALWAYS TRUST YOUR GUT!

lastly, about the "nasty smell" thing (only had that happen once in A dam) you just kick them out right? with some cab fare and NOT PAY? (no sex no money, right?) Can't do that in A dam, they want money upfront.

Thanks for the info guys, I'm staying at SL Oct 11th thru the 16th, look me up and I'll buy you a cold one! Always fun to explore a new "port"!

I was in the Blue Marlin recently, like three days ago, and there were plenty of attractive women around. Let's be real here, all of them (including the fat ones) look better than all of us.

Yea, just keep falling for the "attractive" lousy phuck and leave the rest to me, so far, no regrets!

I hope you enjoy your trip. I have been to Amsterdam more times than I can count (with quite a few visits to the red light district) and yes you are right there are a lot and I mean a lot of beautiful women in those windows. I could not agree with you more but mongering in Amsterdam, IMHO, sucks. Like some of the guys here have said it is very cold and impersonal. Wham, bam and the the phuck out. If you don't mind the all business feel of that scene then you may not get the true beauty of CR.

In CR it is more laid back with just a little pretending on your part it can almost feel like you are young again and have all your mojo. You can sit at the bar have a few drinks with one or several ladies. You can talk to them about their day, their life, the weather or anything else that comes to mind. You, with just a little imagination, can believe that you really are interesting, charming and that young women really do want to be with you. In my opinion that is the beauty of CR. You can hit the massage parlors and with next to no effort on your part other than reaching in your wallet have a great time or you can allow yourself to create a fantasy world where you are the center of the universe. It is up to you. Amsterdam can not any any stretch of the imagination compete on this level.

Now as for the pictures. I'm like you I probably wouldn't even do the majority of the girls in the gallery. I find the majority of them to be marginal. So do yourself a favor don't look at the pictures and think that is what your choices are. Many of the real, real hotties just don't want their pictures on a whoring website, plain and simple. There are lots of very beautiful working women in CR. Landing a stunner will depend on a few things. 1) You brought the most important equalizer...Your cash. 2) Your attitude. You need to be perceived as a decent guy. Know how to talk to a lady. 3) You need to have the ability to have fun. Let go. Make being with you the place to be. When there isn't a party... Be the party. 4) Spanish skills. I for one don't speak Spanish which limits my ability to talk the talk the way I would in English. That does not stop me from having FUN. Have a good time and relax. You'll find girls in CR just as pretty as the girls in Amsterdam. Remember though you're in Latin America not Europe. The look is different but it can be just as beautiful.

Of course YMMV, as always.
