I'm not to worried about finding a cab from the airport to sl,but if you have an early flight back how do you find a ride back to airport from sl?

Or a day before you leave, ask a taxista you are using if he would drive you to the airport. 10,000¢ ($17) will usually do the trick. Make sure you get a phone number to call and remind him about an hour or two before he's supposed to pick you up.

Interbus is a good option coming in, I don't like their 4 hours early pick-up time policy. I don't know how flexible that is with them.

My understanding is that they are fairly inflexible with that. To get a more reasonable pick up time you have to give them a phony flight time. That however, exposes you to the risk of not making your flight if they have a lot of out of the way pickups between when they pick you up and when they make the last pickup.

I don't think it is worth the risk to save a few bucks. Miss your flight and the change fee is going to a $100 or more. :(

If you feel the taxis are expensive and dont want to take the bus either..there is a 3rd option. Find a favorita (make sure she has a car) then spend the last night with her and have her drive you to the airport the next morning. Problem solved! :D

Yes a private taxi out of the SL will work,
I always say I have to be at airport an hour earlier to allow for Tico time and
tico traffic unless it is 6.00 am.
