Post subject:  Cheap Flights

Just posting this now so I will remember to find the info. I got an email from a cheap flights online site a few days ago. They wanted to exchange links. I was about to delete, but decided to check it out. i checked from here to Pensacola, and got the cheapest fare I have ever gotten at any time of year. When I get back to my computer (I'm helping chicas in the internet cafe right now :D , just kidding) I will post the web address.

This site can be an advantage perhaps if your originating city is served only by major full-cost airlines, but checking SpiritAir vs. Kayak shows no difference.

I was watching Fox News last summer and on their News Extras replaces commercials I saw a report on this website www.compete4yourseat.com

It's set up so that you can post your itinerary for travel, and then agents can bid on your itinerary. I did a couple of pratice ones. For example, to book an emergency trip back to the US was $720.00 on Continental, but I received a bid of $559.00 from a New York agency. I did return on USAirways at the lowest price $440 on kayak, the bid came back on the same exact itinerary at $433.00

It seems to be cheaper when you book within 2 weeks of the departure date.
