Post subject: | Hotel Balmoral Information |
I've looked through a number of pages in the Hotel, Resorts, Acc.... Forum and I can't find one comment good, bad or indifferent about the Hotel Balmoral. I'm going to be there over Labor Day weekend. Does anyone have any input they could offer regarding the hotel, (tica fees, rooms, service, restaurant, etc.) I'll report back after my stay so we can at least have some recent intel regarding the place. |

Balmoral is a good property, but it falls under the class "Chica Tolerant, but not Chica Friendly." Great restaurant overlooking the Av. Central pedestrian walkway. Rooms are reported to be nice at the price (which is fairly high). An alternative (no chica fees but the hotel isn't quite as nice) would be the downtown Europa (do not confuse this with the Radisson property of the same name near the airport). Sadly, at this late date, most chica-friendly hotels are fully booked. Good luck. |

Think you have the Radisson confused with another property. It is located north of the gulch near motel Eden |

I'd pass on it--walls are paper thin and if the guy next to you wants to watch tv at 3am, you'll be able to also. |
