I know that La Amistad is guest friendly, but how about multiple guests?
Should I expect any problems with trying to bring 2 guests back to the hotel?

One chica at a time. Great hotel, maybe the best bang for your buck.

Are the drinks and food about the same price as SL? Is it a little more upscale than SL (table cloths, dinner menu etc.)?

I've done it once or twice back before the renovations were finished. No extra charges.

I think though that you always have to "expect" a second charge anywhere, technically thats probably the policy. Case by case basis is the general rule though, isn't that part of the beauty of Central Am. compared to say the USA.

If you know a place that has an actual policy that "multiples" are the same cost as one guest, it would be an unusually specific place.

never have i had a problem with two. nor have i seen anyone else have a problem walking right through the door, checking in, and marching off with two women. last time in late june saw it several times so unless there has been a change in policy recently its fine.

Calling on Matt to chime in and clarify the policy.

He did back during the winter when this question was asked. I think it was in the thread that started with the guy complaining about the uptick in rates.

IIRC, one is ok, two or more is okay as long as there is no disruption caused. But that is just one man's recollection. Something about adults acting like adults... 8) 8) 8)

I tried to bring two girls in once that I picked up at Sportsmens, and was blatantly told by the night guy at the front desk that it was NOT allowed. One had to leave. I was not happy...

Maybe the front desk knew they were SL girls and got all butt hurt...

Yea, I would never want to stress about something as pedestrian as having multiple girls in my room at once... F'that...

This is just my take on the subject
The owner of this nice hotel is a bit flexable :D
The one guest at a time... rule ... is to protect the guest from the dupa scam.
Talk to the guy in the right hand chair at the desk
He will give the night staff the heads up

In other words, if I may Nhhank.....tell that very person Nhhank has identified in the DAY TIME to relay the data to the night crew.....the night crew are great guys....but require you to have a stronger command of Spanish than do the DAY guys and Marlena(......HANDS OFF!!!).

Ask and yee shall receive...... 8)
