I'd suggest staying somewhere else if possible. In fact, since I've had PM's about DR a few times now, maybe I'll start a thread concerning this. Cujo |

On the contrary he sounds like a perfect candidate for the HDR. ![]() |

$1000 per day? I spend that for a 2 week trip including airfare. |

THIS is gonna be the best trip report ever. This guy will single handedly change the pricing structure for the rest of the year. But he will undoubtedly not leave the HDR so he won't fuckup any other locales. |

You can bring them all up at once, as long as you fork over $10 a piece. ![]() todfather19 wrote: what are the happy hours to attend? HDR has a continuous happy hour, but there are no drink specials. They are always dirt cheap, and the best service in San Jose. todfather19 wrote: does hdr offer blackjack? Yes, they offer American style blackjack, and they pay 3:1 on blackjack. They have the best dealers in town and they offer you champagne and a suite when you win big. todfather19 wrote: is 1000 dollar a day a nice budget? That may not be enough. I would budget $2000 just in case the 4 hookers rob you. todfather19 wrote: do they have normal electrical outlets? Yes, there are no abnormal ones in any hotel as far as I know. todfather19 wrote: what about a swimming pool? or can you pay another hotel to use their pool?
Swimming is illegal in the municipality of San Jose. It never rains there, so they have a huge water shortage problem. Hotels don't have pools. Read this: https://costaricaticas.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=16357 |

Perhaps someone answering the question and explaining that his budget is not necessary and explaining his mis-conceptions and giving him some direction instead of tearing the guy a new one and making fun of him is more prudent. Sorry I usually don't get involved here, but way to many times newbie questions are being answered sarcastically and turning into a big joke rather than helping a brother out. WE WERE ALL NEW ONCE! |
