If you say so, Brother...but I've flown with them numerous times including today and never fell in love but never had a problem either. You wanna try to control the RAMF's that fly on that airline (this esteemed Brotherhood always excepted, of course)? One of them was a slightly older willowy blond, one was a so-so Latina, and the third was a knocked-out nifty of a soul sister. Works for me--better than all those Gringas and bratty young'uns I was surrounded by. |

LG, You're showing your age. They prefer to be called flight attendants nowadays. I don't know which one has the ugliest but I can tell which ones have the best looking ones and that title would have to go to the asian airlines. |

...And if memory serves from my USMC days at Camp Pendleton, they were the hottest thing going. All, and I mean ALL of them were Hollywood starlet wannabe's. About wear that thing out, did you, Brother Pac55? |

It was amazing! The apartments were set in a large circle with swimming pools and a club house in the middle. It was bout a mile walk to go around the whole circle. All you needed was a bottle and to just start walking around the complex. In no time you would find a party spilling into the hallway. Many times some of the girls would still be wearing their PSA hot pants (yeah, hot pants). Tough life!

Sounds similar to Kings Creek in South Florida which was a veritable "stew zoo" loaded with Pam Am and Eastern stews. |

You are right about that...as I was waiting to board my plane at JFk the flight attendants of Asiana Airlines came walking by...They were gorgeous.I took Thai Airways to BKK...they weren't to shabby either. |

On the other hand, I've seen nothing but hot flight attendents on Avianca, LanPeru, and AeroMexico. Then again, maybe I'm just partial toward those darn Latinas

Back in those days half the stewardesses, as they were known then, could be, or were, models. Their union got rid of all the height, weight & age restriction stuff and now we got a bunch of old wore out dogs serving us. Hell, I could find better talent leaving the FLL and getting off on the first exit south, Griffin Road, and going to the Broward County Humane Society. The b*tches there are better looking and friendlier. |

The b*tches there are better looking and friendlier There was a time in past when stewardesses, (now Flight Attendents) actually had to be good looking, not over a certain weight in portion to height. Remember Braniff, wasn't their commercial "we'll move our tail for you"? I remember Air Florida when it first started in the early 70s the F/As (sterwardesses) worn bright yellow hot pants. American Airlines get the award from me for the fattest, ugliest F/As. They (the airline) has the Balls to charge extra for an over weight bag 50lbs. Employ F/As that don't weight 180lbs or better. For a long time from its start, air travel was a thing for the rich, and the early years of the jet age had a particularly glamourous image (people dressed up to travel by jet), so the airlines had F/As to fit that image. Don't know when their union had the requirements chnages, but it most likely coincided with the cheapening of air travel and the airlines becoming more and more like cattle haulers. It's nice to the the Asian airlines keeping uo the traditional glamour image.
