Don't know either of these 2 rooms except that they are in the New Wing and need to choose between one or the other. Appreciate any feedback from those familiar with these 2 rooms. Thx.

Illusion, hands down. It's closets to the bar in the new wing but a MUCH nicer room...

Stayed in Ilusion 3 weeks ago during my inaugural visit to CR and was completely satisfied. Cujo is correct that it is closest to bar, only about 10 steps , so noise factor will come into play. Also there are 2 computer terminals right outside the window where mongers and ladies will be lingering about. The noise will end as soon as the bar closes around midnite, so not really a factor for me personally.

Otherwise very nicely decorated small room with large comfortable bed and the best of all for me the jacuzzi tub for 2. Would be an excellent choice.

Can't tell you about the Del Mar.

Stayed in Del Mar last month and it was great, except it's right under the penthouse and on occasion the penthouse "rocks all night".
