Hi guys, I'm coming in next week and only have 1 night covered for my long weekend stay. This will be my second trip and not sure where I should book the rest of my stay. I'm staying at Sportsmans lodge on my first night, then I was thinking of hotel little havanna or Presidente, or Balmoral. I do not mind splurging a little for some comfort. Does anyone have any recommendations out of the three above? Also can chicas enter Presidente? I stayed there last year and it was not a problem just registered them and paid a fee. I would like to stay near the action too. I'll be flying solo this time. I stayed at Del Rey once and hated it, the room I was in was a dump and noisy. What do the regulars suggest? |

Guess you know the deal at HLH, there's no chica fee at the Pres. just the dress code. Balmoral has a chica fee (20 bucks?) so I wouldn't bother with them. You could also consider Amistad or Amon Plaza, see you at the SL happy hr. |

I was thinking of doing a extended weekend next weekend and was wondering the same thing. I was in CR last year and can tell you Balmoral is not very chica friendly. They lock the outside doors at night and if you were to bring a chica back, you would have to deal with the security guard letting you in, then the front desk registering her. I remeber coming home late one night and seeing a dark skinned chica arguing with the front desk personel. I was thinking of the HLH, DR or the SL. Last time I did stay at the la amistad as well, but if all the action is down the street at SL, why not just stay there??? Plus there is a bar and restauraunt in SL and not in amistad. Plus, is it the rainy season?? Sorry to threadjack. I will start a seperate post askings this stuff. |

SL and Amistad are both great opions. but you need to call to make sure rooms are available. |
