Post subject:  HDR last min on site booking for rooms?
Question fello brothers, Im staying at HLH and my question is if i go to the HDR say thursday will they be able to book me a room that same day. I dont care if it will cost more. the reason is I dont want to be taking a taxi all night back and forth to HDR and HLH thru out the night. Thanks in advance and see you in a few hours........ T-minus hours till take off!!!!

Jack, when you get to HLH, just grab Laura, Pamela, and Karen and have them drain every last drop from you. Trust me they can do it 8)

Then you wont be wound so tight! Relax Bro, take JOsie's advice, the cab ride can be a fun time :wink: Especially since the taxista will be taking the long way back to your hotel to run up that meter :lol: :lol: Don't spend 1 colone on an HDR room, you will need all your colones to pay propinas to the three amigas @ HLH :lol: :lol:

Jackhammer,

Bro, take 3 deep breaths and try to relax ! You are making this much harder than it needs to be and thinking way too much. Im glad you are excited about your first trip to CR and you probably lead the post counts for most posts from a newbie before they have visited.

If you want to do something constructive with your time before your trip than pull out the Pimsleur or Rosetta Stone.

Trust me it will all be OK :D :D :D

To answer your question,

No. Most likely, the HDR will not have extra rooms. It's a rarity when that happens.

But, as others said, it takes 2 minutes, and less than $1 in taxi fare to go from HDR to HLH. You won't care.

Eager beaver, aren't we?

If they have rooms available, they must charge some kind of walk-up tax because when my friend and I went to get rooms there on our first trip, we were offered a single for $120 and a suite for $188 for 1 night. :shock:

with the global slowdown, has it effected del rey in anyway with their occupancy. is it still rare to be able to get a room sun thru wed by just walking in? :x that probably something you could only do five years ago.
