I know you guys love your Sprit  :!: But AA FLL _ SJO is the best kept secret going...

I normally fly MIA to SJO but all 3 flights out of MIA were full and wanted a last minute trip, bought a ticket the night before last weekend $230.00 including taxes.. Left 215 arrived 4PM Ok traffic to downtown is miserable at that time but no Immigration or customs line, and flight back was 4:25PM arrives FLL 900PM with time change Breezed through customs out the door in car in 9 minutes.

Just a great alternative for you AA Miles whores or for those of you tired of Spirit

Thanks Sunny...that may be a definite option if I can't catch an Ocho Mama fare from Spirit   4pm landing at SJO is a HUGE drawback IMO though. "Miserable" for traffic may not cut it, that may be suicidal!!

Yeh, thats the schedule I fly, But you can find it even cheaper sometimes, Sometimes theres a flight for $220.42. And I find the times are actually pretty solid, I mean you get to SJO not to early not to late, and you get to leave the Gulch Mid Afternoon giving you time to do your thing the day you leave.

FLL to SJO sucks because of the arrival time. I take Tri-Rail to Mia and take the 10am AA flight. Gets me in early enough for a session before lunch! No worry about afternoon rain or traffic.
I come home to Fll. Late afternoon flight leaves enough time to consider the day a mongering day. Immigration in FLL is a walk in the park compared to MIA. About 3 miles less walking also. There is never anyone else at immigration when this flight arrives.
A week trip is 8 days of sex when arriving early and leaving late.

Wow, kind of make feel lucky her at the windy city. Just bought 2 round trip tickets 5/2-5/10 from ORD to SJO for $288 each including taxes in Continental. I love Continental. My brother and I will be enjoying our stay.

I hyave takrn that flight. I love the departure time on the retrn flight, but the fligh there is at a horrible time. It is too early for me to make it for the flight after work and gets to SJO during rush hour so there is a lot of traffic during the cab ride, If the fight left FLL at 4 and return was at 6, I would be a regular.

My June direct flight from orlando to san jose on jet blue was 232 with taxes included.
The plane was originally scheduled to leave at 8 at night but it was changed to 10 arriving at 11 thirty. That means I can be knee deep in it by about one.
