Hey everyone. Just wanted to post this e-mail reply i got from Hotel Presidente in response to my guest fee question. Looks like the only way you can bring a guest in is if she looks like a saint.

"Warm greetings from Reservations Department at Hotel Presidente.

In order to better serve you, it is important to let you know some of our policies regarding outside visitors and Hotel guests behavior, as I am afraid that we may not be the best choice for accommodations. We have very strict policies regarding noise, outside visitors, dress code and other issues that may disturb other Hotel guests, a situation that we very much wish to avoid.

Recently, the Hotel Presidente instituted a dress code for our guests with the intent of maintaining a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere in the public areas of the hotel. While we understand that clothing is a personal matter, highly reflective of individual taste and style, inappropriate clothing can impact the level of decorum at the hotel. To this end, our dress code is intended as a guideline for guests.

Since every piece of clothing and its wearer are different, decisions on what is appropriate is left to the discretion of the manager on duty. The manager’s decision is always final. Management reserves the right to refuse entry on a case by case basis.

While in the hotel’s public areas, guests are requested to:
- Wear shoes at all times.
- Avoid low-cut or very revealing clothing.
- For female guests, avoid extremely short skirts or shorts.
- Keep stomachs and backs covered.
- Avoid mesh tops and swimming attire.
- Avoid clothing with racist or discriminatory insignias or logos.

We thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

This is nothing new. They've been that way long as I can remember. Go to one of the other 50 hotels who dont give a shit.

I support and patronize the sponsors of CRT. IF they are good enough to give me a discount I figure they want my business and they are going to welcome me and my guests, not look down on me or my friends.

Go to the main Forum Index and click on A Complete Listing of all CRT VIP Discounts! Pick another hotel; one that wants your business.

For example, two of my friends came down not long ago and I referred them to the SL. They were REALLY happy with their stay. I would feel comfortable with referring any of the hotel sponsors.

Eveyone has their own opinions of hotels but I have never read about anyone who was disappointed with a hotel which is a CRT sponsor. I have heard and read several negative comments about Presidente which to my knowledge is not a sponsor.

Even when the Prez was a CRT Sponsor, they avoided advertising it, like they were ashamed of us and what we do. They weren't so ashamed that they didn't take our money though.
