i have always thought highly of this airlines but their recent behavior can only be described as muy tico/muy stupid at best.
anyone flying them knows all about the pull back on miles and service to all of those who do not pay full fares/
but for the last month or more they continue to dangle mostly $505 non stop fares out of LAX. not exactly a bargain seeing as i typically get the same flight for 400 or less.
but whether you use travelocity, orbitz, cheap tickets, kayak et al they all come back as sold out. then you go to the taca site and they will sell it to you for $590.
and now united is using taca for their direct flights also at $581. so this would appear to be the fare for a while since they are cornering the market out of LA anyway. motherfuckers.
i'm using my miles and will walk to CR before flying these cocksuckers again. shame cause the staff is pretty damn cool.
but their management is cleary alienating their customers

Although my experiences with the airline have been limited, Ive had nothing but problems with the airline. From being bumped off a flight for no reason, to being run around a circle before someone would resolve an issue.

But, I think now more then ever it is important to be loyal to those companies that take care of their customers.

Ive personally given up for the most part on the fly with whoever, as long as its the cheapest motto.

Hi,
I got a ticket from UA-Air for $312 rt from Santa Ana (SNA) March 12-18.
I saw it 2 weeks ago and snapped it up; can't beat it. Look up the travel
section on Wend. mornings.

Senor LaDiablo: Why don't you tell us how you really feel. I am still laughing. It's funny how we all get screwed repeatedly by the airlines. I think it is safe to say that " when we say we're never going back....it means we are really pissed off again and we are gonna go get abused by another airline or two for awhile....but we'll be back....eventually".

Odd...I've found it to be the opposite out of Toronto. There's availability on kayak or the other sites you mention, but the prices are outrageous. When you go on taca's site, it's mainly sold out. Flew them once & thought they were great, but unless they drop their fares, I'll be sticking with Delta or AA, who have provided good service to me.

if you don't mind flying 9-12 hours on two stop flights then sure there are $369 flights but i flown that non stop for two years.
i don't care about paying four to five hundred for the nonstop. in the past all i did was check it everyday and i would find a reasonable price and book it with no problems.
but for the last month taca posts the fares and all the brokers show it but as soon as you go to book it it says sold out. when i call expedia et al, all i am told is that taca puts the hold on the prices after they post pricing. its a gay stupid game to get you to use their site and buy a six hundred dollar ticket for the nonstop. only a pos org would pull this stunt daily and treat customers like that.
i hate united and AA but at least they don't Phuck with you like taca when it comes to fares.

yeah if you read my post i do not complain at all about the service by the people at the airport, in fact i state the opposite.
my complaint is about management

the gay stewards always keep my glass full of rum both directions. what more can you ask for these days?

They held up the AMTRAK trains for Joe Biden on a regular basis. Why can't they hold a flight for me. Just give me the pilots cellular number please.

used to fly stand by with united to DULLES , never liked them... can't complain too much when flying stand by, but still .. they have a very bad CS.

Taca doesn't fly NY-CA. :?

Obviously she meant she has flown them from SJO to both JFK and OAK separately.

Yes, it was very obvious. The dash gave it away.

Taca "misplaced" my luggage last night. First time in 25+ trips, so the odds were stacked against me. It was bound to happen, I wasn't even pissed. They just called that they it came on the next flight, and they will deliver it today.

Yeah, they delivered my suitcase about a half-hour ago my wife said. The guy was very professional, called about an hour before said he's on his way. Then called when he was on our block for her to come down and get it.

But now I think this whole thing may have been my own fault. I got to the airport only 70 minutes before my flight. I checked in online the day before, but I needed to check the bag. The guy told me that I just made it, but maybe my bag hadn't. :?

And as for Beaner... we all should stop chasing her around the forum. I'm instituting that as a rule.

We have no 2 rules: don't talk about Jessica ( :P ) and don't chase Beaner around the forum.

the people of taca have always been great, now if their management could get it together regarding pricing, miles etc they would be nearly perfect. the point of my OP for those able to read.
