Hello Friends-

Visiting San Jose in late February and not sure if I should stay at the Del Rey or Sportmens Lodge. Any suggestions? How far are these establishments from each other in case I would like to stay at one or the other but spend time at both. Thanks.

Your choice may have been made for you. The sportsmans is often booked up months ahead of time, so check with them for your dates. I'll bet there are no rooms available.

Aimstad is a good alternative to Sportsmans.
It is two block from SL. Both hotels are a 6-8 minute walk to Del Rey. Take cabs everywhere at night.
