Hi all. I noticed that Hotel Amistad has a new website as of the last couple days or so. I was thinking of trying them for the first time on my next trip as the SL is all booked up but after seeing the new site (very nice and professional compared to the old one) I wanted to make sure that they have not made some sort of change that might result in not wanting our type of business...

Any info would be appreciated.

I was there while the guy was building the site. Nice guy, a tico who lives in FL.

No, the new site is just because the old site needed cleanup...

Matt is still the same old Matt, and the place was awesome...

However, if you're going when I'm going, and you take the last room, it's a horrible dump, and you should never go there....

I gotta talk to Matt about having cheese in his refrigerator for breakfast, but other than that, the place was great.

CC, with the CRT discount you can get one of the penthouses at the Amistad for not much more than a standard room at the Prez--and they're much less than the Prez's suites even before the discount.

My last two trips I stayed in only a $69 queen-bed room, one that had a desk, and I liked it just fine, and I was a Prez guy too. It had a fridge, wired and wireless internet, and those Tempur-Pedic memory foam beds are great for phucking. :D

Agreed...great website Matt.

JOsie, try not to trash 312. I have it for mid-March. And feel free to leave some phone numbers for a couple "superstars" hidden somewhere special.

To All

Thanks for the support during the construction. Things are finally coming to an end and will hopefully run smoothly. The website is up and running. We still need to work out the bugs. If you email us and do not get a respose PLEASE call us toll free at 1-866-468-8684. We will be adding additional photos and items to the website as it is needed. As always suggestions are welcome on how to improve.

regards
matt

I always stay at LaAmistad, and Matt has always made me feel welcome. And the new website looks great (the old one really was ridiculous compared to the Hotel itself).

Sorry about the screen names Matt, I know you hate them because you can't tell who is who since you know must of us by our real names LOL.

I'll see you Feb 17th-26th, I'm booked in 210 :)

The old website still said the hotel was "German owned", i.e still showed what the place was like before Matt took over. Things have changed a bit since then. :D Good job, Matt!
