A friend is almost ready for his "Grand Opening"

I am trying to help him with feedback regarding his "program."

He plans to offer:

1) A beautiful 3 bedroom apartment on the 25th floor overlooking Parque LLeras. Amenities are high end.........

2) Two "fiestas" in the apartment with non-pros. Minimum 2 to 1 ratio. No charge for the party. Make your own deal with the girls.

3) An MP tour with a bilingual guide who really knows the scene and can explain pricing, takeout, getting phone numbers for out calls etc. $10 per hour.

4) Night time stripclub tour with a bi-lingual guide who will help with explanations..pricing, out calls, bar fines etc. $10 per hour.

5) Optional airport pick up. $30.00

6) City tour...Metro, Aerial trams, Pablos grave? No charge

What other options would you like to see him offer?

How should he price it? He would need a minimum of $1,800 per week to offer the complete program.

How about $1,800 for two ($900 per person per week) and $2,400 for 3 ($800 per person.) These proposed prices are "Grand Opening" and would last for the 1st two months.

He has not come up with any great ideas for guys traveling solo. Any ideas are welcome.

I'm no expert but at $900 per AND double occupancy that seems very high IMO

Price is right on the airport pickup, I've paid $35-40

The MP tour will appeal to many newbies, of course if said newbies read here or the other sex tourism sites they would also learn the tricks of the trade such as bringing your own pen/paper for later takeout as the girls are forbidden from bringing these into the rooms. I'd still hire a guide to ensure I did find all the MP's that I want to visit. As for being a translator, again that seems moot. They know why you're there, someone else puts their hand out and explains pricing. Girl does what the girl does.

Stripclub tour also a good idea as safety in numbers, I'm not sure how he comes up with an hourly rate. The good old fashioned tried and true system of buying the translator his beer has worked well. But speaking for myself, I'd me more inclined to go with someone that knows the scene

So biggest flaw IMO is the room pricing, many private apartments in that same location are going for $75-90 a night from people that have good reputations and solid contacts, asking $900 week only if there's double occupancy will sink him.

If he's pinning this on great amenities and setting up the fiestas, anyone without a 3rd head can pretty much fill their own black book on day 1. If the non-pro's become semi-pros, more often than not they will provide contact info for themselves, their friend, their sister, their sister's friend....etc

Yikes, I thought that was per person. So, you can get a 3 bedroom and split it 3 ways for approx $30 per person per night... 3 blocks form the Park?

Even with all the bells and whistles, that price is still ridiculously high even for Pobaldo. The $75 - $90 rate is also what I found to be going rate in that part of the city. If you don't mind sharing, you can split the costs with a reliable wingman.

I paid $19 a night for my 1 BR in Laureles...and it even came with my own live-in tour guide and housekeeper.
