Any one spent any time in this room. I know they are recently renovated. But I would like to get a since of the outside noise, convenience, wifi, and anything else you can think of. Thanks for any help given.

One of the best rooms in the hotel. Stayed approx 40 days in that room in 2008.

Master Bedroom, Bath is set back from the hallway/room entrance (Kitchen, Living Room and guest bathroom in between the hallway and sleeping area.

Hard line internet as well as Wifi in every room. I had better luck with the Wifi in the kitchen and living room area.

will be in that room tomorrow night. hopefully that phucking train is not arriving every morning still.
seriously a great room though. full kitchen if you like to cook. full size frig for all your stuff you want to keep cold
second bathroom by the front door is convenient if you have company and really need to let loose. its not right next to the bed.
odd wall urinal in the main bath. wtf?

In process of being removed, if it has not already....but yes...WTF was it doing there in the 1st place :?: :?: :? :? Guess only Wolfgang (old owner) knows the answer to this as 311 was part of his personal residence prior to selling the hotel to Matt,

Other than the occasional late-night clickity clack of high heels walking up the stairs, it's a great room. But now that El Silencioso's DNA has been spewed about in every corner of the room, I'm not so sure anymore !!! :P

Does anyone know why Wolfgang sold the place? Stayed there one night on my first CR trip in 2005 and meet the guy...

"Does anyone know why Wolfgang sold the place?"

Proly correctly foresaw the current global economic collapse and deflationary environment and decided to cash in.

Smart smart man!

They finished the tracks and the train disappeared for awhile. The Earthquake must have damaged the tracks as they are working on them again. It should not be long. When completed it will be a commuter train to Heredia and Alajuala.

Not much i can do sorry

Matt.

Stopped by and you have done a good job. The place looks very nice. And DD from New York showed me his hot tub room and the maid let us look at one of the 69.00 dollar rooms.

Just wanted to say congratulations. '

Also Chi Trecker should take a look at the place and ask your advice on how you have gotton as far as you have..

Again, Looks good.

i stayed in 311, and 312 last year....311 is set up for a residence, if you dont cook its a lot of wasted space....it could use a large jetted hot tub or a sauna.....312 has a sauna and a lg jetted tub (no workie) and a good sized all in one shower/hot tub sort of thing.....prefered 312 because of the sauna!!!! 312 has got a great balcony as well....i also looked in 310, sleeping area in the loft up a spiral stairs, and the john is on the main level....it too could use a big jetted tub

all 3 suites are huge, with 311 and 312 being over 800 sq feet each.....

312 is great especially if you like a lot of space. For sure, a Jacuzzi and new mattress would make it the best in the place. I like the urinal.
I hope they keep it. GREAT ROOM AT A GREAT HOTEL!

PURA VIDA!
