Gents,

How is Hotel M these days? I attended a CRT party there and the place was really nice. Are there working girls there? Someone told me this, just trying to confirm. Considering staying there this month. Thanks fellas.

I live six blocks from there and never go. I know several of the girls who work there as well as other places. Just don't see why I would go to M, knowing that the same girls can be had elsewhere for half price.

Well, the facilities are very, very nice there. The place maintains an "exclusive club" ambience and attitude.

My first visit to Hotel M., I bought a shot of local rum for U.S. $7.00. The bartenders virtually ignored me, even though I was tipping very generously (at first) by C.R. standards. I was sitting next to a girl I was told looks exactly like Barbie Benton (think Playboy, 1976). She offered her charms for U.S. $350.00. WTF??

I guess if I had the need to be ostentatious and to demonstrate my wealth, I'd stay there. They do occasionally have very nice parties, and CRT has thrown more than one soiree there.

One cool thing about the M. is that it doesn't look like a whorehouse. It's very discreet and upscale; the neighborhood is very, very nice.

Well, please remember that prices charged, services offered and length of time are all a case of "your mileage will vary." Perhaps Barbie Benton wanted $350.00 from me, but would charge a better-looking, younger guy less? One never knows.

As I have never enjoyed the company of a girl who was at Hotel M., I can't comment on how high or low prices *could* go. YMWV.

I stay at hotel M every time I am in town, I joined the M club and pay half price for my room which eqates to the same or less as other upscale hotels ie hlh, mansion wing ect. I stay there because I don't like to stay in a whorehouse only visit. A lot of the high end girls there would never be seen in the DR or SL. The chicas are quite fond of the M as well because the staff treats them with respect. To each their own.

Thanks for the positive post, Mark. How much do the ladies who congregate at Hotel M. typically charge you?

Also, is it true that the place has a dress code for customers? I'd read somewhere that hotel guests are not permitted to wear jeans/shorts on premises? Hoity-toity. :roll:

I stay there with a favorita so have never pulled any of the inhouse tallent. My wingman on my last trip enjoyed a super hot one for dos cein. I have never paid any attention to the dress code and never been called on it. I know all the staff and owners, as I have stayed there 15-20 times over the last couple years. I will say I have seen the hottest chicas I have seen in CR there.

My one stay at Hotel M was very nice...

the bartender is/was one of the hottest girls I've ever seen in CR.

The girls that work the place however...

Well, lets just say they're way over priced...

I was there with my then gf, so I didn't pull anything, but I spent several hours at the bar alone after she went to sleep - she was sick, and the girls wanted WAY too much...

M is one of the nicest places I've stayed in in CR, but for my money, I'd stay at Amistad, Freebird, Morazan, SL... and walk on down to ZB or NF...

As you know the Hotel is very nice but I agree with Pac55 and El Ciego that the talent level there is way overpriced and I really saw nothing special during my 5 night stay. I slowed down on the tipping for the same reason as El Ciego, I pretty much felt ignored. I only hooked up with one girl there, a Columbian that had a longer list of don'ts than do's.
Other than that ownership and the rest of the staff are great. I like nice places and would stay there again if it weren't for the new Mansion Wing in Sportsmen's Lodge where the rooms are every bit as nice and less expensive.

P.S. There were no dress codes.

I stayed there a couple of years ago and I will also say that it is one of the nicer hotels in SJO. I was treated like a valued guest, but for the money I paid, I kinda expected that. I think I stayed 5 days and only one night did I find people join me in the bar about Happy Hour time. Most times, I sat in the bar by myself and paid prices I would pay in the US. The parties they host throughout the year, while expensive, are pretty good! My biggest complaint was that some of the HDR/KL girls did not want to go all the way out to San Pedro as it was work to get back so they could turn another "trick". I found more than a few who turned down work due to the distance. Happily I found others who could care less about the distance. I also found it difficult to find a taxi that could easily find the place, even when supplied with the map on the back of their business cards. Nice rooms, nice 32" LCD TV's and porn 24 hours a day!

I have stayed there several times, but I use the place when I am coming with a wingwoman. While we have been introduced to some very beautiful chias, just hunting the bar on any given day or night is not a good plan. We would go to the DHR or KL, and load up the taxi to come back to the hotel. That gigantic hot tub is great.

The parties are great. In 2007 I was at the SL SB Party, and then headed back to the Hotel M. The Hotel M was a much less crowded and much better experience, complete with a half-time show and some DDG chica cheerleaders. Had a great little stripper, Angel, as I posted back then. She was a real beauty, but was $250 for an unrushed hour that was closer to two. (After, she did a pole dance that had the "party" room packed.)

The taxi directions can be a problem, as others noted. Also, because they have only been around just a year or two, they don't always have good contacts for tours, taxi's and such. Ask them to be sure that it's a good tour company they are using - I had to give them feedback on the 4-in-1 company they were using in 2007. Also, I recommend having them call you a red "airport" taxi to get the flat rate: two years ago, my trip back to SJO was something like $60US.

The personal service is simply great. After my first visit, I was always greeted as an old friend returning. Taking a wingwoman there will certainly impress her, and make her feel comfortable.
