I was happy to see that jet blue will start non-stop flights from orlando to both San Jose and Bogota next year. The fares are cheap and its an easy hop. Looks like I will be traveling even more than I am now. |

![]() ![]() ![]() More cheap and quick flights for those who live in Florida! ![]() I live in the opposite corner of the country so flights thru FL do me no good. I looked into making a cheap Spirit flight work once but I would have to leave a day early and spend the night in FL. Not to mention the PITA of a 1 or 2 stop flight to get to FL in the first place! I've said it before... You lucky ba*tards who live in Florida! ![]() If I lived there I'd be in C.R. at least once a month! ![]() Jet Blue has a couple flights out of Seattle. To NY and LA I believe. Maybe if C.R. works out for them they may add a flight from the "left" coast. |

Yeah, I can't wait for them to start. I wish they would keep their schedule from March 26th to April 30th of departing Orlando at 10:40am and arriving in San Jose at 11:53am though. For some reason on April 30th or May 1st they switch to departing Orlando at 8:15pm which gets to SJO at 9:25pm. That schedule change also changes the return flight from leaving SJO at 12:48pm to 9:55am. So far most of the flights are completely unbooked so you can pre-select row 3 (for no additional charge) and be one of the first people through customs. Or get row 12 for some extra leg room ($20 more). I'm sure they will have some sales next year but I'm still trying to book some trips in advance since they say that most flights are $99 each way if booked before December 23rd, and that fares will start at $139 after that date. |

I feel for you guys on the west coast. Now that there is once again a direct flight from orlando ( hasn't been one for about a year since martin air stopped that service) I can make it door to door from home to the sportmans in about six hours. Leave my home about two hours before the flight, three hours flight time, and an hour tops to the hotel from the airport. Which means I can be getting serviced in new fantasy or from a sportmans chica within 6 and a half hours of walking out my front door in the states. The jet blue flight to san jose starts on March 26th. I just bought a ticket for March 27th through April 3rd. It was 99 each way and came to a total of about 240 round trip after taxes and fees. I choose row 3 as it was the closest to the front of the plane. Even if they up the fee to 139 each way its still a deal because martin air used to charge about 400 or more for the same flight. And they were often many hours late connecting from Amsterdam. Jet blue is probably my favorite domestic airline. Very no hassle compared to Spirit and American which both suck IMHO. |

You got that right. I checked the prices when I first saw this thread. SFO to Orlando was $189 (and up) each way plus the $99 each way from Orlando to CR. ![]() |
