Got in tonight,rooms are remodelled,flat screen t.v.new wardrobes..showers,sinks etc..got the crt dicount for the last time..studio $50weekdays and $60 weekend...

I booked a room at the Prez for MLK jr. weekend and based on the e-mail corespondence I received their new VIP policy is based on a minimum of 12 nights per year. They told me my VIP status was good until December 31, 2009. If I stay 12 days in 2009 I will get VIP status renewed. No chica fees and dress code will still be in effect.

what is the 09 vip rate

I got the Grand Spa room for 126. + tax. The regular price, for weekends, is $155. Normally I get regular spa room which now goes for $141. It looks as though they raised their rates about $10 per night for all rooms on weekdays and another $10 on weekends.

So going forward, you must stay at least 12 nights in 2009 to get the VIP rate in 2010?

The question is do all VIP's get these rates in 2009, or only those that stayed at least 12 nights during 2008? In other words, when does this 12 night minimum begin?

Based on my understanding the answer to your first question is Yes. I am not sure about the second question because I stayed there around 12 or more nights in '08.
