Are there any baggage lockers at FLL ? My return trip to the US on December 26 has me doing an overnight at Fort Lauderdale. I won't have enough time to get a hotel and a decent nights sleep....so I was wondering if I can get a storage rental locker for my carry on bags and then go clubbing. Their web site says they have them. |

I don't know but sounds good. Where will you club? Downtown Hollywood is fun and so is Seminole Hard Rock club area. Both are a short taxi from FLL. |

Actually....I should call a realtor instead and go look at houses for sale. I am already sick of this Wisconsin winter. |

I just did a Google search for the airport's website, looked under "passenger services" and found that they have lockers available. Here is the link: http://www.fortlauderdaleinternationalairport.com/services.php |

If there is a Florida, New Hampshire; it must be a really small town, because I could not find it on the map. Florida, right now appears to be the ultimate buyers market and I will keep that ever-present in my mind, so sure, let me know what you have. I am thinking gulf side and south of Tampa/ St. Pete. Also, I was aware from the FLL website that there were lockers available at the airport. Just thought they might have removed them for homeland security reasons and not changed the website. |

There are bargains EVERYWHERE in SWFL Gringo! As for the lockers at FLL, I asked 2 different sets of Airport personnel, not airline personnel, and each set said no more lockers. I didn't ask when they took them out. |

I believe the lockers were ordered removed from all airports shortly after 911. I know in Miami they opened manned baggage storage rooms were you could, for a fee, store your bags to compensate for the removal of the lockers. I do not know if they still offer that service |

OK...here's the update. Flew into FLL last night with a layover til morning. No immediate baggage recheck and no lockers. There are baggage storage concessions but they keep bankers hours. Soooo me and my baggage spent the night in the terminal. No clubbing...no nothing. Moral of the story....get a room. |
