Anyone know if it is Chica Friendly? It's probably a familiy place but I thought I would ask. If it isn't, anyone know of guest fees. |

Yeah, I was planning on doing the Copacabana then I saw a great $50 rate at Best Western using Kayak. So I thought I ask. Thanks for the info. |

Well, maybe like one of the guys in another thread suggested, we are acting like fools in front of everyone & its gonna cost us?? I disagreed but maybe it will cost us... Ya know a country that draws all kinds of beach, eco, adventure, type toursim and also has legal prostitution is surely going to have conflicts at the intersection point of LODGING. Visitors and "johns" (I hate that term!) alike both need hotels....thus the hotel operator is faced with managing both types OR excluding the other. Are we riding on borrowed time brothers? Oh yea, I'd like to hear more reports about Claritas is anyone if anyone has any, rooms ..and is bar a good place to hangout? |

I stayed at the BW in Jaco about 10 times from 1998 to 2002. Never had a problem with a chica with me. But, she has to register or sign-in with you. You should clarify exactly what you mean by 'chica-friendly'. How can they refuse you if the chica registers with you? How do they know that she isn't your wife or girlfriend? Now, if you attempt to bring in a chica AFTER you have registered, that would be a problem. Every time I stayed there, I had brought the chica with me from San Jose. |

I brought two from SJ once, hotel was no problem, course one gal had her 5 year old daughter with us. And we drove up. Maybe we looked normal....NOT! Chubby gringo and two sexy colombianas. But no hassle & what a wonderful time. Got two rooms at a good price and that included meals! If was by a lagoon, with two pools. Can't remember the name but we walked to shopping and beatle bar so it couldnt have been too far from there. Walk across the street and you were on the beach. |
