More than pretty cool--an essential site if you are free to travel on short notice and have unused Frequent Flier miles. As of Tuesday 18 Nov. '08, in addition to their fare alert feature, you can sign up to be alerted when an airline has seats available on a particular flight on a particular day. They cover Alaska, Delta, Continental, United and USAirways. Check out this feature at www.yapta.com and click "include award tickets".
This site will also work to get you a refund if a ticket price drops after you've bought the ticket--like I said, beyond cool.
Yapta isn't the first to do this--ExpertFlyer.com, a subscription service, also does it.
