Post subject: | Jaco Hotel recommendations? |
Greetings, fellow mongers. We are planning a trip in Nov and are looking to stay in Jaco. Anyone have some reasonably priced and chica friendly hotels? I can't make much sense of the search function! Thanks in advance! |

Hotel Cocal is pretty good. The rooms are ok, but the hotel is very nice. Their rates for November are still good. They double in December on. Here's their site: http://www.hotelcocalandcasino.com PS, get a poolside or oceanfront room. |

Hey Orange, I played poker in the casino there a couple of weeks ago. I looked in one of the rooms walking into the front. This would be the rooms facing the parking lot. They were a lot nicer than I remember. Maybe they have rooms of much different standards. I put a client in a poolside room last year and it was standard, nothing special. But this was pretty nice. I will ask someone and see if I can get some info and see if maybe they have done some renovations. |

Did I read a while back that complaisant ladies are known to cruise the Poseidon in the afternoons? No personal knowledge, you understand. |

Poseidon, no... Sometimes down the street at El Bohio, but I haven't seen anything very appealing there in a while.... |

dapanz1 I stayed there at the end of September and Katia said that the Copa was going to adopt the "Mediterranean Policy " in January 2009 for their swimming pool and spa/jacuzi. which means that the swimming pool will be topless optional for chicas and that the jacuzi will be clothing optional for all. Her words....not mine. |

los 4 grandes is literally a (weak) stone's throw from Beatle Bar. nothing special but reasonably priced (haggle based on occupancy and stay, by no means should any two people pay more than $50, should be less). very chica friendly, two of us had girls coming in and out all day. |

So there is Poker in Jaco now? Does it run pretty much every night? |
