A great place. Clean rooms; very comfortable beds, plenty of hot water, safe - with a great geographic reach to the usual hot spots, a nice bar - restuarant, a friendly staff. With a nice blend of clientele; from business persona, to tourists, and of course the occasional barrio amon hobbyist.

Concur with all Brother Dramatist said, especially about the bar/dining room. Saw a nice waterfall on the booze display there once during a heavy rainstorm --that may have been fixed--otherwise very tranquil place. They used to have a weird "chica fee"--$11.30 per--maybe they charged service tax? And they may have dropped that for us CRT VIP's.

Thanks for the info. Is the La Amistad chica friendly? Is that place, and the La Amistad, close to the SL?

Amistad is chica friendly. Both are convenient to the SL. Check the CRT map to get a better idea of the location of those and other places. It will help you tremendously when you get here to get your bearings.

apparently you don't carry the coveted "CRT VIP" status. this would have waived the "guest" fee, and availed a 10% discount on the room.

Just a question. The location of this hotel/resturant is not on the VIP map (or I could not find it). Does anyone know the location? Also how about the resturant good/bad. Are they open for breakfast?
Thanks
