Thought I'd post a good find from the FlyerTalk frequent flyer community. Looks like American Airlines has launched a Central American fare sale against Delta's Atlanta Hub. Also, looks like Delta has launched an fare sale against American Airlines for routes to Central America out of Dallas-Fort Worth. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=874907 The thread has details for dates and fares. |

I just booked on Delta Nov.1 to 3 for $201 total with taxes. Sale doesn't look to go out very far but couldn't let the miles pass.rbc100 |

Don't know why I'm even posting this but once again, due to fare wars , I guess, it's cheaper to go from Dallas to SJO, stopping in Atlanta than it is to go directly from Atlanta to SJO. 194.62 DFW to SJO. 366.80 ATL to SJO. I'm a little confused why Delta is not matching American's fare ATL to SJO at $196. |

The rates are pretty much double from last year coming from Vegas. I already book the HDR from Nov 22 thru Nov. 30. I couldn't get the Presidente or SL. I think I will wait until the 4 week mark to pull the trigger on buying tickets. It was 1,000 last week, and now can get it for 800. At these prices, I will probably just use my FF miles. Hope to see some of you guys there. Hey vegas bob keep the black jack tables warm for me.
