Just a couple of questions to ask, if any know the answers will be much appreciated. Have not been to CR in four years but plan to go back soon.

Does the Presedente Hotel still waive the guest fee or do they now charge for bringing a chica to the room?

At Jaco Playa did anyone ever stay at Clarita's Hotel. It was'nt there last time I was Jaco. Looks like a fun place to stay. Any recommendations?

Looked at the Beatle Bar website, new owners, it looks like they really fixed up the place, but is it the same as the old one, with the chicas coming in ready to work the gringos.

At Jaco it seemed that every hotel there charges a guest fee, some as high as $25 a guest. Some won't allow a chica at all to come to the room. Anybody here know of hotels in Jaco that don't charge a guest fee or a very low fee. $20-$25 guest fee on top of what the chica wants seems to be a major rip-off.

Do they still have the lesbian show at the Park hotel on Saturday nights?

And last is the Blue Marlin still as wild and crazy as I remember it was 4 years ago?

Thanks for any and all information you guys can provide

I had a a great time at claritas in June. It is kind of bare bones but clean and on the beach. You can't get much better than the bar there.

Copa Cabana is a great place to stay while in Jaco. Chica Fee is $15 when you come past the reception desk but you also have some great looking finds that frequent the bar and pool area both at night and day and as far as I know, no chica fee for them. It's right on the beach and only a block from the BB. Rooms are basic but comfortable. Also has an adults only area with a hot tub where anything goes. Just make sure you ask them to turn it on before you go out so its filtered and warm when you're ready to use it.

BB was really disapointing. The selection was not that great and the chicas are certainly not on par with SJ. Nail down your deal with fine print before you leave.

Like Brother L54 said , Clarita's is a minimal place but clean. Bar right on the beach and no chica fee there 'cuz you don't pass anybody to get to your room. That also means no one checking/ holding cedulas either so more care in your choice is in order.
The Park Hotel is no more. Can't advise now vs. then at the BM but I found it fun especially the live music. YMMV. Beatle Bar is, from what's been said here, is luck-of-the-draw. I understand (again not personal knowledge) that a few chicas are to be found poolside at the Poseidon. BTW, want to polish your Latin dancing? Try www.salsastar.com for Salsa Boot Camp (not an ad for them, just info).
